Be a Crime Watch Block Captain for the Dells District
stacks_image_9_1
Crime Watch is a program that helps neighborhoods stay safe and secure. It operates in cooperation with law enforcement and Code. The new Crime Watch coordinator for the Dells District is Daniel Benchot.

A Block Captain is the main contact for neighbors on his or her street.

Block Captains help their neighbors recognize and report problems or suspicious activity. As soon as possible, neighbors should inform the Block Captain of a break-in or any vandalism.

Block Captains will go out once or twice a month on their street for about an hour with Daniel. They will inform people about crimes in the neighborhood, or what is being done about Code issues such as loose animals or graffiti. They'll also talk with their neighbors about upcoming events.

Interested? Please
send an e-mail to Daniel for more information about being a Block Captain for your neighborhood.
