Loose Dogs
According to a Southwest Dallas City Code Officer, loose dogs are the NUMBER ONE complaint from residents in the Dells District.

The Fast Response phone number for loose, AGGRESSIVE dogs is: 214.670.FAST (3278)

This number is for areas such as the Dells District that have high concentrations of loose dogs.

Call this number between the hours of 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

At other times, call 311.
Recently, Dallas Animal Services rounded up stray dogs here in District One. 94 dogs were impounded and 60 citations were issued. Several residents of the Dells District have had frightening encounters with loose dogs. Some residents---and their pets---have been attacked and bitten recently.

Please help to make our neighborhood safer by being a responsible pet owner.

ALL loose dogs.

Dogs and cats are not allowed to roam free. Pets must be confined at all times or on a handheld leash in the immediate control of a person. In addition, all dogs and cats must be current on vaccinations and they must be registered with Dallas Animal Services.
